We are in our final season of Junior Football at U16 Level from Sep, and have not had a new kit for a few seasons. Our team is made up of 75% players from our local York High School serving the general Westfield area which falls within the bottom 20% most deprived nationally particularly regarding specific metrics like income, employment, and housing barriers. Some of the kids have had challenging childhoods and football has been their one outlet and I just would like to make their final year end in style, with the added pressure of their GCSE’s. As coaches the respect these children give us is nothing short of amazing, they play because they enjoy the game and their team, friends for life.
