AFC Minster Tournament

THE 2026 AFC MINSTER TOURNAMENT IS CONFIRMED!!!

The tournament will be played on 20-21 and 28 June 2026 at the Sheppey Sports Club, in Minster on Sea, Sheppey.

The U7-U12 age groups will comprise of groups to be played round robin style, with standard points for wins, draws and losses. At the end of the group stage, the top 2 in each group will progress to the knock out stage of the Cup, while the 3rd and 4th Place teams will progress to the knock out stage of the Shield.
U13-U16 age groups will be invite only.

Participating teams will be from the age groups U7-U16

Dates and formats:

Sat 20 June
Morning (am): Under 7 and Under 11
Afternoon (pm): Under 8 and Under 10

Sun 21 June
Morning (am): Under 12 and Under 9
Afternoon (pm): Under 11 Girls and U13 Boys (both invitational)

Sunday 28 June
Morning (am): Under 14 and Under 15 Girls (both invitational).
Afternoon (pm): Under 16 (invitational)

The format for each age group is as follows:

Under 7 and Under 8 will play 5-a-side (Each team will be allowed a maximum of 10 registered players)

Under 9 and Under 10 will play 7-a-side (Each team will be allowed a maximum of 12 registered players)

Under 11 – 16 will play 9-a-side (Each team will be allowed a maximum of 15 registered players).
