We calculate a host as a physical machine or VM that is sending data to us for 720 hours in a month. That means, if you autoscale and say if you run 2 physical hosts for the first 15 days of the month and then no hosts are running for the second 15 days of the month, then you would have connected only 720 hours and so only one host will be calculated.
How does the free trial work with Atatus?

What counts as a View?
A page load or a route change is considered as a View. A View is a single visit to your website/app by your user. If the user refreshes/revisits your page again, then it is considered a separate View. When there is a route change event in a single page app, it is also considered as a View.
We allow equal number of Errors as Views. If you have a project where there are lower Views than JS Errors, then JS Errors will be considered as the Views count. Lets say if you are subscribed to 1M Views, then we accept JS Errors up to 1M within the same plan. If at the end of the month you have 1M Views and 2M Errors, then your usage will be considered as 2M Views.
Does RUM support Single Page Apps?
Yes, we natively support single page apps. You will be able to see the route changes and the AJAX breakdown of these route changes as well.
Are views and error count counted separately?
We do not count them separately, in the sense, we allow equal number of Errors as Views. ie. If you subscribe to 100k RUM Views, we also allow 100k Errors. If you have a project where there are lower Views than JS Error count, then JS Errors will be considered as the Views count. Lets say if you are subscribed to 1M Views, then we accept JS Errors up to 1M within the same plan. If at the end of the month you have 1M Views and 2M Errors, then your usage will be considered as 2M Views.
What frameworks do you support instrumentation for?
Atatus RUM will work on all JavaScript frameworks. We have native support for Angular, React, Vue.js, Svelte and more. The framework specific route changes and errors are also automatically captured.

What is Check Runs?
We support HTTP, SSL, DNS, TCP, ICMP API checks. Each time a check is run from a single location, it is counted as a single check run. If 5 API checks are running from 2 locations every minute, then it is calculated as,
Total check runs to buy:
5 (checks) * 2 (locations) * 60 (minutes) * 24 (hours) * 30 (days) = 4,32,000 check runs
We also support Multi-Step HTTP API checks. In this, every step where a HTTP request is made, is counted as a separate check.
